Our Chardonnay, strikes gold

Daniel Bessiere is one of our favourite wine-producers and suppliers, and his vineyard in the Languedoc region of southern France has produced some exceptional wines in recent years.Bessiere also supplied us with the award winning 2006 Chardonnay, from Le Cellar de Refegue, acknowledged with the gold medal at the prestigious Mondial de Bruxelles 2007 Competition.

This Reserve de Rafegue is selected from the very finest Cuvees fine wines that perfectly express the characteristics of the Chardonnay varieties. It’s a perfect accompaniment with seafood, grilled or sauce-based fish dishes, poultry and cheeses and is even better as an aperitif. You’ll find it in the following hampers:
